Ceiling Smashers

Philly Startup Leaders and the Women in Tech Summit have partnered to launch a new initiative - Ceiling Smashers - aimed at convening some of the female identifying individuals leading economic development in the Philadelphia region. Ceiling Smashers will be a coalition of the people who are not only smashing the traditional glass ceilings themselves, but are also bringing along other often unrepresented individuals and groups to help our region grow. 

At our hugely successful first event on March 7th, we announced the first of the programs that Ceiling Smashers is launching, our Leadership Training Program. 

In this innovative program we will be growing and mentoring women and non-binary founders, CEOs, and entrepreneurs through the power of the region’s existing Ceiling Smashers.

Kicking off the Leadership Training Program is 2024’s CEO Summer School! 

CEO Summer School with run one evening per month, May - September with sessions on Sales, Operations, Investing, Introductions to Venture Studios and Entrepreneur-in-Residence models, Leadership and People Management, along with networking and mentorship.
